Haiti Needs Your HELP! Join KULT.fm & The Red Cross By Giving What You Can Or By Donating Ca$h To The Relief Efforts...
The American Red Cross has increased its initial offering of aid to Haiti to $1 million and is currently sending six disaster management specialists to the country in order to help coordinate the humanitarian effort on the ground.
Fifteen American Red Cross employees were working in Port-au-Prince at the time of the earthquake, and although communications with them have been limited, we do know that they are safe and are responding to the needs of the survivors.
The most effective and most direct way to provide direct assistance to people affected bythis earthquake is to make a donation to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. Money raised for Haiti will be used to purchase the essential supplies such as food and water that are desperately needed by the survivors during first few days after the earthquake.
Donations can be sent to the American Red Cross P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013 or made by phone by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or online by clicking here.
